How do you envision the second coming of Christ?
The Revelation of Scripture envisions a day when Christ Jesus will come again – as he came before. He will bring heaven to earth. He will establish the reign of our good and gracious Lord. He will heal us and the whole broken and beautiful creation. This is not a future to fear. This is a future to celebrate!

“You cannot serve God and wealth [mammon].” (Jesus, Luke 16:13)
Will we serve the false god of mammon – and in so doing ‘trample on the needy and ruin the lives of the poor’ (Amos 8:4). Or will we serve the true God embodied in Christ Jesus – using our resources to care and provide for the poor and vulnerable among us.

Saul believed that separating himself from “sinners,” and even persecuting them, was the acceptable cost of defending his faith. He was wrong – a truth revealed to Saul by Christ Jesus himself. By the grace of Christ, Saul the Pharisee, a man of violence, became Paul the Apostle, a man of love.
